Good. Contemporary calf calf and cloth with a touch of superficial wear. Armorial bookplate of George Johnston and bookseller ink stamp to front pastedown. 'Bought at Dr. Johnston's Sale, 9th May, 1918' noted in pencil also to each front pastedown. Slight foxing to first and last signatures and plates. A well preserved, solid set. viii, 602pp and viii, 569pp.
